Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just a bit better than LG V30, getting an 82.9 score against 79.1. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's construction is newer than LG V30's, although it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a little more vivid screen than LG V30, and although they both have the same number of pixels in each inch of screen, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a quite larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
LG V30 has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little bit better processing power than LG V30, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a better camera than LG V30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has superior battery life than LG V30, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V30. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG V30, letting go a couple specifications.
