Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy A80 body is a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy A80, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit superior processor than Galaxy A80, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro feature quite similar memory for applications and games, both of them have exactly the same internal memory. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little longer battery duration than Galaxy A80, because it has a 14% greater battery size.
