Galaxy Note9 is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting an 87.1 score against 82.9. Galaxy Note9's design is a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a just a little higher display pixels density and a little higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a superior storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
