Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the LG V50 ThinQ has an older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 X has Android 9.0 Pie.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 20 X. They have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. LG V50 ThinQ has a brighter display than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a much greater display pixel density.

LG V50 ThinQ captures way better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a way tinier camera sensor which provides a much worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture and better 60 fps video frame rates.
