The Galaxy M31s is much better than Huawei Mate 20 X, getting a global score of 88 against 75.6. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31s has the older 11 version and Huawei Mate 20 X has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Galaxy M31s is somewhat thicker than Huawei Mate 20 X, it's somewhat lighter and also newer.
Galaxy M31s counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 X, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 X has a bit better processing power than Galaxy M31s. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount. Samsung Galaxy M31s shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 X. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 aperture, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Samsung Galaxy M31s features longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 20 X, because it has a 20 percent larger battery size.
