Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 20 X's general score of 75.6. Galaxy Note9's construction is lighter but a little bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 20 X, and both were released only 2 months apart. Galaxy Note9 has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 X. Both have 8 cpu cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
Galaxy Note9 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960px resolution and a better display pixel density. Galaxy Note9 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 X, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 X counts with longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a much tinier back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also counts with a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in low light situations and faster video frame rate.
