Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 5's global score of 76. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3. Huawei Mate 20's body is much newer and a little thinner than Google Nexus 5's, but it is also a lot heavier.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a little better processing power than Google Nexus 5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. Google Nexus 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better amount of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much higher 12 MP resolution back camera, a lot larger aperture to capture better images and video in low light environments, a much bigger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot better (4K) video resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has 96 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 has a very superior battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 is a little more expensive than Google Nexus 5, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
