Huawei Mate 20 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the LG V30's general score of 79.1. Huawei Mate 20's design is newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than the LG V30. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better performance than LG V30. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
The Huawei Mate 20 and the LG V30 both have quite similar displays, because although the LG V30 has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. Huawei Mate 20 and LG V30 count with incredibly similar cameras, because although the LG V30 has a lot smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
LG V30 features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 features longer battery life than LG V30, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V30. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get LG V30, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
