The Huawei Mate 20 has a global score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Xperia XZ1's general score of 78.3. The Huawei Mate 20 body is newer, but thicker and heavier than Xperia XZ1. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZ1. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
