Comparison review

The Huawei Mate 30 5G is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note9, getting an 87.4 score against 87.1. Huawei Mate 30 5G is a newer phone, and it is also a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note9. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy Note9's processor is just as good as the Huawei Mate 30 5G one, and although the Galaxy Note9 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy Note9 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 30 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.

Huawei Mate 30 5G shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a way bigger sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos.

The Huawei Mate 30 5G has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
