Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro's 87.1 general score. IPhone 8 Plus is a much older and just a little heavier phone than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, but Apple could make it somewhat thinner anyway. The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, although it has a little smaller display, a just a little worse screen density and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px. IPhone 8 Plus's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Huawei Mate 30 Pro's one, both of them have equal 256 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a superior camera than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a back camera with a much higher resolution, a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a very superior battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2691mAh.
