Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a general score of 87.1, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8's general score of 79.5. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a lighter device than Asus ROG Phone 8, but they have the same thickness. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 30 Pro has older 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a really superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a just a little lower screen density and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a bit larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back facing camera with a better 50 mega-pixels resolution and a much higher video definition.
