Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei P40, having a general score of 87.1 against 86.4. These devices have the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should provide you all the same operating system features. Although it's the best phone in this review, Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Huawei P40.
The Huawei P40 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro count with extremely similar processors, and although the Huawei P40 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Huawei P40 has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei P40 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much better quality pictures and a back facing camera with more mega pixels.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent larger battery capacity.
