Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's global score of 84.3. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 30 Pro has 10 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a better device than the LG G8 ThinQ, it must be noted that it is also a just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier device.
The LG G8 ThinQ has a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and more pixels per inch of display. The LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ and Huawei Mate 30 Pro have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Huawei Mate 30 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
