Sony Xperia 1 II is slightly better than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, getting a global score of 91 against 87.1. Sony Xperia 1 II is a somewhat thinner and just a little lighter phone than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, even though both of them were released only 5 months apart. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 II has 11 version and Huawei Mate 30 Pro has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features.

Sony Xperia 1 II has a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a way greater display pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Sony Xperia 1 II's processor is very similar to Huawei Mate 30 Pro's processor, both have 8 processing cores and 8 GB of RAM.

The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Huawei Mate 30 Pro takes better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 II, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a 0.59 inches sensor, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 13% bigger battery capacity.
