Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 30 Pro's global score of 87.1. These phones have Android OS, but Xperia 5 III has a newer 11 version and Huawei Mate 30 Pro has Android 10, so it gives some nice extra features. Xperia 5 III's body is newer, a little thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
Xperia 5 III features a processing unit that's just as good as Huawei Mate 30 Pro's CPU, both of them have 8 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels, it also counts with a just a little greater screen density.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia 5 III, because although it has worse 60 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size and the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has a way bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1 TB. Xperia 5 III features a battery performance that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro one.
