The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5, with a global score of 87.1 against 77.6. These phones include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a extremely newer phone than the Sony Xperia Z5, although it's somewhat thicker and much heavier.
