Huawei Mate 30 Pro has an overall score of 87.1, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, so it gives some additional features. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a way newer phone than Xperia Z5 Premium, but it is just a bit heavier and thicker.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also counts with 5 GB more RAM memory. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a way higher pixel density.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a way bigger sensor, better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a camera with much more mega-pixels and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a much greater storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with improved battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 31% bigger battery size.
