The Galaxy Note9 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 30, with an 87.1 score against 84. Galaxy Note9's body is older, a little heavier and just a little thicker than Huawei Mate 30. Galaxy Note9's processor is just as good as Huawei Mate 30's processing unit, and although the Galaxy Note9 has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Galaxy Note9 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater display density. The Huawei Mate 30 takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a lot larger sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures and a camera with much more mega-pixels.

Galaxy Note9 counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 30 has a little better battery duration than Galaxy Note9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
