Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy M31s's general score of 88. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an older 10 version while Galaxy M31s has Android 11. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is just a little bit thinner but just a little bit heavier than Galaxy M31s, and they were released only 3 months apart.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit better performance than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because it has a little greater screen pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a higher resolution of 1334 x 2772px.
Samsung Galaxy M31s has a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
