The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is better than the Sony Xperia XZ2's 79.1 overall score. Although Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a little bit heavier than Sony Xperia XZ2, it's thinner and notably newer. Sony Xperia XZ2 has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little smaller display.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit superior processor than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
