Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a 90.9 score against 76.4. These devices use Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a a lot newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it is noticeably heavier and thicker.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a much smaller display and a just a little inferior pixels count per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster).
Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots way better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rates, a larger aperture for better photos and videos in poorly lited situations, a back facing camera with lot more MP and a lot larger camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
