Asus ROG Phone 5 has a score of 84.7, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8's 77.4 general score. Although the Asus ROG Phone 5 is much newer than the Huawei Mate 8, it's incredibly heavier and thicker. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2448, a quite bigger screen and a quite higher number of pixels in each screen inch.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a superior storage to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a way better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bigger aperture to capture better images in poorly lited situations, a much higher 7680x4320 video quality and a lot more megapixels camera in the back. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a much better battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
