Huawei Mate 30 Pro is much better than Huawei Mate 8, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 77.4. Huawei Mate 30 Pro's design is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and a bit heavier than Huawei Mate 8. Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit higher 1176 x 2400 resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a just a little higher pixels count per display inch.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate 30 Pro shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger camera aperture for better low light captures and videos, a way higher 40 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with just a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 30 Pro features just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
