Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than the Motorola Droid Turbo, getting a general score of 77.4 against 76.4. The Huawei Mate 8 body is newer and much thinner than Motorola Droid Turbo's, although it is also a little bit heavier. Motorola Droid Turbo has a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has 4 less CPU cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Motorola Droid Turbo features a way better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater pixel quantity per screen inch and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Motorola Droid Turbo shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Motorola Droid Turbo also has a much higher (4K) video quality and a camera with a much higher resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 8 has a bit longer battery performance than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3900mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Droid Turbo. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola Droid Turbo, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
