Huawei Mate 8 has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has an 8% greater battery size. The OnePlus 8 shoots greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a much more megapixels camera in the back, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited situations.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 8, resigning some specifications.
