The Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8's overall score of 77.4. Xperia 5's body is notably newer and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 8's, although it is also a little bit thicker. Xperia 5 counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little higher pixel number in each screen inch, a little bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more RAM.
