Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8's score of 76. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an notably older cellphone than OnePlus 8, but Huawei was able to build it a bit lighter and just a bit thinner. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a larger screen. OnePlus 8 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a bigger camera aperture, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos and a back camera with a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The OnePlus 8 features as much memory capacity to install games and applications as Huawei Mate 9 Pro, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, letting go a couple features and specs.
