Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a general score of 91.8 against 78.7. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's construction is much newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, although it's a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has older 11 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's processor is just as good as Huawei Mate 9 Pro's processor, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A71 5G counts with a little longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
