The Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 general score. These devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it offers some extra features. The Galaxy A8 Star construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it is somewhat heavier.
