Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a overall score of 86.5 against 78.7. Although Galaxy M31 is incredibly newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better looking display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better pixel amount in each inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy M31's processing unit is very similar to the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores.
Galaxy M31 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a way better resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a greater storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31 features a way better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
