The Galaxy M31s has a global score of 88, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Even though Galaxy M31s is much newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is thicker and heavier. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy M31s counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M31s also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy M31s has a processor that is very similar to Huawei Mate 9 Pro's CPU, they have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 50% bigger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera, a much bigger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
