Google Pixel XL is better than Huawei Mate 9, with a overall score of 81.3 against 73.4. Even though the Google Pixel XL and Huawei Mate 9 were released only a few months apart, the Google Pixel XL design is a little thicker but also somewhat lighter. Huawei Mate 9 counts with a bit faster processor than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a higher number of cores.
The Google Pixel XL features a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and more pixels per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB.
Google Pixel XL shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel XL also has a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
