Comparison review
The LG V30 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9, getting a global score of 79.1 against 73.4. LG V30's body is lighter and a little thinner than Huawei Mate 9, although both were released with only 9 months difference. The LG V30's processing unit is very similar to Huawei Mate 9's processor, they have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
The LG V30 features a sharper display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a bit larger screen. The LG V30 takes greater photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the LG V30 also counts with a camera in the back with a much better 16 MP resolution and a much larger diafragm aperture.
The LG V30 counts with a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 9 has longer battery lifetime than LG V30, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
