Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9, getting a score of 76 against 73.4. OnePlus 8 is a just a bit lighter phone than Huawei Mate 9, but they have the same thickness. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit superior processor than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 counts with a much better looking display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a just a little greater screen density and a bit bigger display. Huawei Mate 9 has a slightly better memory for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
OnePlus 8 counts with a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments and a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
OnePlus 8 has a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
