The Huawei Mate 9 has just a little better performance than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy A8 Star features a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a little higher display density, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2220px and a little bigger display.
