Comparison review
The Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is better than Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 general score. The Galaxy Note9 body is newer, but just a little heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei Mate 9. The Galaxy Note9 features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a greater screen pixel density and a little bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 takes much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video resolution, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a larger back camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs.
The Huawei Mate 9 and the Galaxy Note9 have similar battery performance.
