Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s has an overall score of 76.4, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9's general score of 73.4. Xiaomi Mi 5s's body is lighter but a little thicker than the Huawei Mate 9, and both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a sharper display than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 9 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a greater number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same video frame rates and the same resolution camera, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger diafragm aperture.
Huawei Mate 9 has a slightly better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
