OnePlus 8 has a general score of 76, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate S's 75.3 overall score. OnePlus 8's construction is noticeably newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than the Huawei Mate S. The OnePlus 8 has a much better display than Huawei Mate S, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bigger screen and a little bit better pixel density.
OnePlus 8 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM. The OnePlus 8 has a way better camera than Huawei Mate S, because it has a much more megapixels camera in the back, a way better 3840x2160 video quality, a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments and a way larger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and videos.
The OnePlus 8 features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Huawei Mate S, they have the same internal storage. The OnePlus 8 has a superior battery life than Huawei Mate S, because it has a 59 percent bigger battery size.
