Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is slightly better than iPhone 8's score of 85. Even though the Huawei Mate X is much newer than iPhone 8, it is much heavier and much thicker. The Huawei Mate X has a slightly better display than iPhone 8, because it has a better pixels density, a way larger display and a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480px.
IPhone 8 has a bit better performance than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU. Huawei Mate X features a much better memory for games and applications than iPhone 8, because it has more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate X features a much better battery life than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size. IPhone 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller back camera sensor which offers a lot lower photo and video quality and a lot less mega pixels resolution back camera, they both have a same size aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than iPhone 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPhone 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some money and get the iPhone 8, letting go a couple specs and features.
