Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than Apple iPhone XS Max, with a score of 89.4 against 84.5. Huawei Mate X's construction is newer than the Apple iPhone XS Max's, but it is noticeably heavier and much thicker. The iPhone XS Max has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1242 x 2688, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
The Apple iPhone XS Max has a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate X, because although it has less and slower processing cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor. Huawei Mate X features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPhone XS Max shoots better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a back camera with a way lower 12 mega pixels resolution, they both have a same size aperture. The Huawei Mate X has a very superior battery performance than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3179mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Apple iPhone XS Max, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPhone XS Max. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Apple iPhone XS Max, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
