Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is better than LG V30's 79.1 overall score. The Huawei Mate X is a notably newer cellphone than the LG V30, but it's way heavier and notably thicker. Huawei Mate X has a bit better hardware performance than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM.
LG V30 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels, it also counts with a greater screen density. LG V30 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back camera with much less MP resolution and a lot smaller sensor taking lot lower quality images and videos, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light photography and video.
