Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, with an 89.4 score against 81.7. These devices use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0. Although Huawei Mate X is much newer than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, it's notably thicker and heavier.
The Galaxy Note Edge has a much better display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little worse resolution of 2560 x 1440, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Huawei Mate X features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a CPU that's just as good as the Huawei Mate X one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has lesser cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Huawei Mate X counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 50% bigger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way lower 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a tinier diafragm aperture and a lot smaller camera sensor.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
