Huawei Mate X is much better than the Galaxy S6 edge+, getting a global score of 89.4 against 79.3. Huawei Mate X is a way newer cellphone than the Galaxy S6 edge+, but it is notably thicker and way heavier. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1.
The Huawei Mate X features a greater processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 4 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster). Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a brighter display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little bit lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater display density.
