Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is better than the Xperia 5, having a score of 89.4 against 81. The Huawei Mate X is a incredibly heavier and much thicker phone than the Xperia 5. Xperia 5 counts with a little faster processing unit than Huawei Mate X, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia 5 features a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 2520 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate X counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting way worse quality videos and photos and a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and video.
Huawei Mate X features a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3140mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia 5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xperia 5, giving up a couple features and specs.
