Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is a bit better than the iPhone 8, getting an 89.1 score against 85. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is noticeably newer than iPhone 8, it's notably heavier and just a little thicker. The Apple iPhone 8 has a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and 2 lesser and slower cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little bit better looking display than iPhone 8, because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a much better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a lot bigger screen. IPhone 8 and Huawei Mate X2 both have similar memory for apps and games, both of them have equal internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a much better camera than iPhone 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photos and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a way higher resolution camera.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a much better battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has a 147 percent larger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Apple iPhone 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Apple iPhone 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Apple iPhone 8, giving up a couple specifications.
