Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Huawei P20, with a score of 89.1 against 78.1. Huawei Mate X2's body is notably newer, but a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier than the Huawei P20. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X2 has the previous 10 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little sharper display than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite lower number of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way bigger display and a much better 2200 x 2480 resolution.
The Huawei Mate X2 captures better videos and photos than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera with a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution. The Huawei Mate X2 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P20, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X2 has improved battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3400mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei P20, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
