The Huawei Mate X2 is slightly better than Motorola Edge 50, getting a global score of 89.1 against 81.2. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Huawei Mate X2 is a older, just a bit thicker and heavier phone than the Motorola Edge 50. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores. Motorola Edge 50 features a sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a bit smaller display and a way lower 1220 x 2712px resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels density.
The Motorola Edge 50 has as much storage to install applications and games as the Huawei Mate X2, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate X2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light environments.
