Comparison review

Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge's overall score of 81.7. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X2 has the newer 10 version and Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0, giving a lot of extra features and optimized performance. Even though Huawei Mate X2 is noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Note Edge, it's just a little thinner and extremely newer.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a much better display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller display and a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, it also counts with a higher display pixel density. The Huawei Mate X2 features a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.

The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 5 GB more RAM. The Huawei Mate X2 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.

The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
