Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than Huawei Mate X3, getting an 82.1 score against 74.7. Despite of the fact the Galaxy A8 Star is incredibly older and notably thicker than Huawei Mate X3, it's construction is still extremely lighter. Galaxy A8 Star works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Huawei Mate X3 counts with HarmonyOS 3 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels, a bit smaller screen and a just a little inferior pixel amount in each display inch. Huawei Mate X3 features a bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy A8 Star features a much powerful CPU than Huawei Mate X3, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Huawei Mate X3 has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh. Huawei Mate X3 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate X3 also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels and better 60 fps video frame rate.
